Danielle Ribner, born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, studied History and Film at University of Washington in Seattle, before moving to New York to study Fashion Design and Parsons School of Design. After graduating, she worked in design at Jones Apparel Group, delivering collections around the world in a fast paced setting. After about a year working for others, Danielle went out on her own with Loup, a French influenced line of women’s clothing that takes inspiration from her studies in History and Film as well as the rich culture in New York. As of 2009, designer Danielle Ribner has been raising Loup as a label that makes fashion effortless for the newfangled woman on the go, producing everything locally in New York City.
