Tracing Steps // Faith Picozzi

Faith Picozzi
Faith Picozzi is a hard working model living in LA, with a couple other talents about to burst out into the open. But as we found out, she’s so much more than just a pretty face…

1.What do you like about living in Los Angeles?
I’m from Las Vegas and the lifestyle here is more like what I am used to.
I love the mix of sun, fashion, and I like the outdoor aspect like hiking at Runyon.

2. How long have you been out here?
I moved here alone 5 years ago.

3. Where else have you lived?
I have lived in Paris, London, China, and New York. Paris is my favorite city.

4. So what are you up to now, who are you modeling with?
I have been working since I was 14yrs old modeling with Nous Model Management but I moved to LA modeling and acting with Wilhelmina.
I was recently in the Showtime TV show, Reality Show with a reoccurring role.

5. You were working so young how did you get in to the business?
I have a showbiz family in Las Vegas. My aunt Melinda is the First Lady of Magic and has been performing on the strip for as long as I can remember. My Mom was a show girl and performed for the Rat Pack in that era.

6. Who is your favorite Disney princess?
The Little Mermaid.

7. Ok, if Ariel were to land on the beach of California which one would it be?
She would land on Venice, Ariel is a little quirky.

8. In the entertainment industry, they describe different talents as “threats” what are your threats?
Well I am a classically trained ballet dancer, I am incredibly flexible, I sing, write, play guitar, model, act, oh and I can cook!

9. What do you cook that would be your signature recipe?
I make a really good pesto pasta.

Picozzi Pesto Pasta?
YES!

10. So what is your main thing now?
I have been making my living as a model but I am going to transition to making music now.
I will always have to model, for my own products and in photo shoots, but the context will change.

11. How does Nous feel about that?
They are totally supportive, they are like a family. I don’t think you should work with anyone that doesn’t support you.

12. So you make music, can you describe your sound using food tastes?
I think it is sweet in its innocence, with some spicy textures, it would be light like something that is served at Lunchtime.
I keep it simple but it is filled with emotion.

13. Have you done any crazy modeling things?
There is always a battle of something, the temperature, or uncomfortable poses, or long hours, but I’m flexible.
I just have a pet peeve of people being late.

14. Ummm… I was late to our meeting, sorry.
Its okay I was sitting with my mom, who is visiting so it was no big deal.

Oh really !

15. To MOM: How do you feel about her career? Seeing your daughter in seminude or provocative poses?
In our family nudity is not that big of a deal. When I was young her Grandma handed me a G string bikini and said “You don’t need all those tan lines.” She’s never done anything that was done in a poor light, everything has been artistic and in good taste.

16. Looking back, did you know she would end up in entertainment?
Absolutely, I knew she would be doing something in show business. Its in her blood.

17. What do you want for your daughter in life?
I really just want her to be happy and content.
